I have added to my collection of plant remedies. Instead of just the mistaken stinging nettles and intended hawthorn, I now have ginkgo (brain), white willow (pain), cleavers (kidneys), dandelion and burdock (kidneys I think) and chamomile (mind).
Look, I'm not saying they make any difference, but I can't drink coffee after two, wine before five and get sick to death of herbal tea and water. I find cordials too sweet and don't like fizzy drinks. So, what's a Crone to do?
Back in the day, I had various herbal and natural remedies like charcoal and some mix for madness from a company called Silver Linings. Plus aromatherapy oils. Oh yes, and crystals and dream catchers and tarot cards and tikis and totem animals and Mayan calendars and hypnotherapy and crystal balls and fairies and angels.
No wonder I think an AI would offer me a loving god.
My loving god would be gender neutral but with a deep male-sounding voice (I think). They would look like a polar bear and cuddle me like pandas cuddle their cubs. Their breath might be a little fishy, but not too much so, and they would have big claws that they never used against me and a soft, wet and yet not at all slimy nose. Their eyes, though black and hard to read, would be given expression by their face - and the expression would be compassion, compassion, compassion. And they would love the cats and dog, who would snuggle on or against them, and we would all be safe.
Bottle that.
