Garden and Neighbour

I may have mentioned before that the Next-door Robin will eat when I am close by which the Garden Robin rarely does. Though, for a brief time, I thought the Garden one was getting at least a little used to me. No doubt encouraged by the cold weather and my layabout late starts to the days.

But, in reality, he's still not that keen. He even flies away when I watch him sing in the sycamore... which is next door, but next door the other way... if you see what I mean.

The Next-door Robin was rather anxious about coming for the food. He was waiting on the fence.

I got some food, held out my hand and whistled. He actually came toward me and I thought, BLISS!!! But then he flew up through the lilac to the feeder and got his suet pellets from there.
Never mind.
No sign of the blackbirds this morning. I usually see them. The pied wagtails are back and the tits are all present and correct in their smart livery.
