I call it a meditation...

...but really these are periods of rapture.

The first part of the video shows little fish. They seemed to be dancing to the birdsong. I was thinking of all those little minds, distinct but somehow not divided. Responsive to the world, to each other.

Then the birds in the wood and the light through the trees. These things belong together.

Rapture comes from the Latin rapere - to seize (so much for i before e except after c), which can also mean, unsurprisingly, rape.

There is something almost violent in the way my attention is seized, caught and held, by something like fish, like light.
