A day when Crone moaned then rejoiced

The moan? Bloody dog shit and barking dogs.

The rejoicing? Well, it started when I saw and heard a pair of ravens fly over! Then I put some bird food out among my brashed up stools and saw how the clever little tits found it almost straight away! A robin came over too and treated me to some subsong.

I took some photos... This is my "Crow in the Coppice" sequence. [Ooooh! Aren't we pretentious? - Ed.]

A great tit and then a greater spotted woodpecker.

Finally.... er... two birds too far away.

The birds seem to like the brashed up stools. I imagine some might nest in there. Their eggs will no doubt get eaten by the bloody dogs.
