After a bit of an absence...

...I hadn't been to visit Kairos since before the trip to Devon and I was feeling rather guilt about that. And it was a lovely hour or so.
Before I reached Kairos, I saw the Goddess, who is hosting hornets and looks more than ever Goddess-like. Plus, she is also hosting fungi.

I found an old horseshoe on the track. I was going to take it home, but instead I offered the luck to Kairos.

In front of where I was sitting was a large orb spider web. It was glittering in the sunlight and more notable in life than in the picture.

While I sat there, I was asking and listening.
This is what came.
Inside every being––beyond, speech, actions, feelings––is not an essence or even a psychological state; not a core; but a place of, as it were, concentration, but a concentration that is also dissolution. And that is what is sacred.
It is the state of being as being part of a process that goes back and back, beyond birth, beyond species, beyond the start of life or even matter, to the moment of inception... The instantiation, now, of the one single trajectory that led to this one person or leaf or red kite or lynx or bee or stone or river. It's the now of a single arrow’s flight from the start of the universe.
That is what makes everything precious.
And that, whatever it is, is what the circle of immanence reminds us.
The stone circles make a description of that for the land, which has to hold its sanctity everywhere.
This sanctity is also sanctuary and there are no words and no knowing and nothing but the everything of the arrow flight itself.
And if you can sit in there and be in there you live in the sacredness of yourself.
And because within that place is the utmost recognition of contingency and dependency and entanglement and vulnerability, from there you see all that in every other being. Acting from there is to act accordingly.

Thank you for the words and the images x
