Skulls are always interesting. This, according to the county recorder, is a badger sow's skull, as it does not have much ridge crest.
He did not mention this scrape, which looks like someone gave the skull a nibble. Rather more than a nibble. Maybe the skull was just scraped by stones in its passage from some underground chamber to the surface during some recent communal excavations.

A lot of teeth had got lost along the way. Check out the huge holes for the canines! Badgers have an immensely strong bite... I think there's some factoid about that... Hmmm... well, certainly the strongest bite in the UK's extant wild animals. And only the wolves would have bitten with more force on these islands.
The back teeth are impressive too - some serious grinding potential there.
