Another day, another wood

The only permission to ask upon entering the wood is that of the wood itself.

After going to the gym, I like to have coffee or lunch with a tree.
This first tree was pretty pissed off actually. In fact, although he didn't mind me being there, he reckoned most people shouldn't go in the wood. Litter. Noise. Scaring everyone. Failure to pay attention. Failure to connect. I should have felt honoured to be there, except it was more of a grudging acceptance.
I suppose that people leaving sinks, buckets and watering cans around hasn't helped tree-human relations.

The second tree, pictured on the front, was gentler. She said that no one can be absolved of their sins but they can be accepted despite them. Once they have learned from past mistakes and accepted the responsibility for those actions. That made sense to me.
In a spirit of acceptance, I made a breathing space meditation movie.
Thanks for the breathing space x
