Things have got worse.
I mentioned the unreal cats. Well, this game has loads of ads for things it thinks you'll like, which you have to sit through. Sometimes you can earn points or gems or whatever for watching a video. Distressingly, it showed me PETA ones for a while. Neurologically damaged kittens. But it also wants you to buy gems or fish or kitty kash. I had resisted all this for four or five months. Then it offered me Dobbie.
Dobbie is the ugliest cat. She is named after the ugly house-elf in Harry Potter, of course. Gary and Elise had a Dobbie. The one and only cat they rehomed. They usually take in strays and adopt the unwanted. Dobbie was unwanted and they took him in but he just didn't make friends and influence people so he went to an elderly lady somewhere.
Anyway, I paid £4:99 for Dobbie, a load of kitty kash and some fish.
With her in the photo are Woollie, white and shy, and Cinnamon, sweet and friendly. Dobbie is gentle. And ugly.
In addition, you can't upgrade Dobbie as she require 'legendary' gems. I have common, rare, special and epic gems but I think the legendary ones are legendary. Woollie and Cinnamon have both progressed to stage seven, which mean they earn a lot of hearts. Dobbie may be stuck on one for some time.
I can't help loving her. If not quite as much as one-eyed ginger Odie - who is active.
