Getting Started

I’m Crone’s Companion (C-C) and have been reading and enjoying Crone’s blog posts since the very beginning. We’ve been good friends for years. My plan is to post short poems and images (made by me) while Crone is busy working on other projects. This poem is a Tanka .

Brand new leaves

are wet-looking, perfect

for a day, maybe two

before the first wind tears

or insects bite and chew.
