It takes time...

According to Kairos, he's been telling me to be a teacher since we first met. This is not exactly how I recall our relationship but his view is that it's not his fault if it takes me a hell of a long time to understand things.

Passion has to be rooted.

It's the ground that enables you to fly and grow and expand.

Where am I now?

What is happening now?

Who am I now?

Who are you now?

And you build from that.

And know it will all change––except one thing. That the one thing is that you can always return to be HERE.

That is why it matters in the life of a mobile creature, even a swift. (Kairos is unsure about water dwellers and points out that we are neither of us water dwellers.)

The water and the air and the fire can excite and inspire, but we two know we are of the earth––arising from and returning to it.

Some tell the story of the river, from land to sea––but the water too returns to land in tides and in rain.

You can become very different, but you cannot be the other and you cannot be in any moment other than who you are and you are only who you are in the moment and here.

The past and memories shape us and make us but we are not determined by them. The course can and should change.

See my branches? I never do straight.
