Keeping a low profile

I said that I couldn't work out the territory thing. Well, the next day, it turned full circle.

Bobbit was back in the back of the garden, singing from the fence and the back lilac. In the afternoon, I saw him again - in the honeysuckle. Seemingly keeping a low profile, but then coming out to sing.

In the interim, the fox food has been left untouched and the rats have been less noticeable. Maybe the fox has eaten poisoned rats? I haven't seen so much of the squirrels, either. But their nuts all go.

But, I seem to have fixed the fence! I thought the posts were broken, but no - they were just loose in the holes. So I stuffed sticks and broken pots in the holes and the fence is standing upright.

To make up for that improvement, the light switch in the kitchen has broken again so it's permanent twilight in there.

Good to see and hear Bobbit. You are extending your coppicing work to fixing your home fence! We had to get an electrician in to fix a few things recently that were light-giving. Very helpful improvement in the downstairs bathroom! I still go around at night with my flashlight, just in case.
