The wonderful Dave Jackson was the trainer for a photography workshop at the Reserve. We did quite a bit of close stuff, which was good for me with my new lens thing - and also all the actual birds were far too far away for my zoom lens!
Nice people, good day, much fun!
And I learned some really useful things. Like what some of the confusing buttons do. Also, I got a little bit clearer about the whole shutter speed, aperture, sensitivity thing. Very valuable indeed.

I'm glad the workshop was so useful! Your close-ups of moths and other insects are wonderful!
