Re-visiting Aulus

This video shows two of the interesting halls affecting oak trees. Also, the Sun Summoner (with crow); the Bee Oak Who Guards The Elm (where I got stung once - the oak protects a quite large elm, these are the pictures of the dead inner wood of the trunk); and the Leopard Ash, plus birds eating the food I left and a roe buck who had been sitting under the Stag Head oak, the Sun Summoner.

I went past Aulus, but didn't sit in the Guardian Oak as he was guarding wrens. And this is odd: I often saw robins around Aulus but he told me that his bird allies were wrens.

Anyway, although I didn't stay close to him, I had a conversation, which follows on from the posts about the one and the many and Kairos' lost limb, which you can find at the bottom of the page.

Why would you think that the light that shines on the tree (consciousness) is more significant than the tree?

I ask about that idea of the relatum from which the relata emerge- doesn't this somehow incorporate consciousness in the relationship?

No.

So what's going on?

Relatum is from which consciousness emerges. You are conscious of something.

And matter?

Matter is all about relationships.

And time and space?

Where relationships play out, which exist only because of the relationship. A relationship can be ended but not undone.

That covers time, what about space?

The relatum gives rise to relata which cannot be in the same place or they are the same. The universe is a relationship falling apart.

That sounds bleak.

Only if you assume that no new relationship is forthcoming.

Is a new relationship forthcoming?

Yes, inevitably.

Inevitably?

You forget that a universe is a relationship falling apart, and also all the relationships building and forming and falling apart between all relata that arose. It gets ever more complex.

So there is no end?

There is if you deny or destroy the heterogeneity. And you humans want this:

ree

but that is dead. It has to be this:

ree

There will be bottlenecks, but resist the drive to artificially unite. The unity is in the diversity already.

You and Aulus had an interesting conversation about diversity and what happens with relationships. And your video (which is full of such wonderful examples of diversity) follows along so well with the text. p.s I like the photos of your handwritten notes and transcripts. 🤎
