Yes, it was stormy - as you will see... hear... from the video in a moment.


I've been thinking about what Kairos said about not-being... that living is doing. In Eva Meijer's talk, she mentioned wu wei, which is a kind of not-doing. Going with the flow, in common parlance, perhaps. The doing that Kairos does is wu wei doing. So as well as not-being, he is not-doing. This article has some good stuff on wu wei.


While on the not-doing and not-being, how about not-learning? This is from Han Kang's Greek Lessons:


You know that I am someone who is unable to obtain wisdom from suffering, don’t you? That my inner eyes will never open, even as my sight dulls. That I am bound to lose my way amid my countless chaotic memories, my acute emotions. That I wait in my innate foolishness. Not even knowing what I wait for, but tenacious all the same.
