The hermits and the asbos

As I have mentioned, the garden birds have not been noticeably friendly.
This is about as close as I get to the robins.

There is one very notable bird: a blue tit who it not blue! The parts that are usually blue and greenish are slate grey! Turns out, it's a juvenile. Funny that is the first time I have noticed the colour of the kids. Maybe I hadn't seen kids before.
The starlings are no braver than the other birds, but I certainly know when they are around! I refer to them as "the ASBO starlings" - ASBO was the acronym for Anti-Social Behaviour Order!

No ASBO starlings here. Groups of them just quietly graze the back yard lawn. 😉
