Seriously, this is another mystery. Just look at the size of it.
The world really is stranger and more varied than you know.
And maybe I can get even more confused and confounded now that Ian Wilson has lent me one of those microscopes that you can link up with your devices. It took me a bit of time to set it up and I didn't set it up entirely right, but I did get somewhere.
On the left part of a wing... or a sycamore key... in the composting material in a tree fork. On the right the close up of a leaf showing the... er... fungal? growths.
And here - a CREATURE!
Now I just need to set it up properly and find some time....
Cool!! You'll have fun with it. Not sure who that invertebrate is in the video but they're showing up well. Maybe a juvenile ??
