I ventured onto the Cottesbrooke Estate.
I call this "Three Crows Flying A&B". [FFS. - Ed.]
There had been parents (I often see a pair here) and two children. This pair do tend to keep their fledglings close for longer than most.
But I didn't get a close look at any of them.
When I say 'less wild" what I mean is "more cultivated". The land is starting to produce less in places.
I walked past Aeolus, who looks really well, and various other favoured oaks, but here are a few trees with dead branches - including the Sun Summoner.
Midway through the walk, I climbed Honey Hill and at the top, I did yoga which was great as it was the first time since I'd got home and I was stiffening up.
It was a lovely day, with a nice breeze to keep the bugs at bay and the heat down.
I think "Three Crows Flying A&B" is a very fine title 😉. Interesting how they are flying low to the ground. Sun Summoner is a new name to me. Sounds like you had a good time in the fresh air.
