Water moon

Yes, yes, more moon and still no full moon. This is the moon reflected in the Serpentine in Hyde Park the day after the moon over the reservoir.

I'm intrigued by the way that reflection in disturbed water is not a mirror image but an interpretation... kind of how we remember events not like a video but like an improvisation...
I'm interested in how our values are reflected in our actions, our narratives, our homes... what tells you the most about a person, after all? What they say, or what they do, or the gradual formation of the residue of a life in their home and belongings?
I'm interested in how we present ourselves... and what about when what someone says does not seem to match some other version of events? How much do they, do we, believe in the speaker and how much in the other version? What does it depend upon?
If the waters of our soul, say, or our conscience, were calm, would the self-presentation be an accurate reflection?
If the waters of our soul are turbulent, can we, nonetheless, adjust for that and present something that may, somehow, be honest?

Wow!! ✨🔭
