Yoga in the woods

Every hot day, and I had managed to trot. It was still hot... less so... slightly... and muggy. Not a lot of relief. So, having messed around on the laptop for too long, I walked down to the Reserve.

On a negative note, there was an oak near Kairos with bad oak mildew. (it's crept around to this side of the Reserve thanks to the drought). The tree was losing leaves like autumn, though they were dull grey-green rather than bronze. Worryingly, Kairos showed some of the same symptoms, though less severe.

On a positive note... well, butterflies... a painted lady (looking the worse for wear) and a large skipper.

...a fungus...

...a feather (though this did signal a pheasant's demise.)

I did my yoga on a track. Very meditative. Near an oak who has no name.

Then I climbed into the Mother Oak, to eat my apples and drink my coffee in the bough-bowl. She said that she does not mind about living and dying. Said all that matters is being kind. Well.
