Another walk in the parks

I took another route through Primrose Hill and Regent's Park this time and was astonished to see healthy elms in both places. I think they are NOT English elms, but one of the many other species, presumably one not susceptible to Dutch Elm Disease.

The bark is rather lovely.
As is the bark of this very burred plane.

And here are fungal bodies on a dead horse chestnut.
It was mild though cloudy and there were many young people enjoying Primrose Hill, and the view across the city.
