I went for a run under dramatic skies. I always like this view of Kingsthorpe Church.

A reminder that this was a real village and still has some of the feel of it.
I always look for a kingfisher when I run along the river - though I have only seen one here once. On this occasion, I was caught by the beauty of the river's surface.
That reminded me that I made a little video in the woods when I visited Kairos.
And, on the way back to my car, I spotted a rather wonderful old ash.

Today's run took me past the copse and on this occasion a different oak called out to me. I could hear deer walking in the wood, out of sight.
As you can tell, my "runs" involve a certain amount of just being. If I feel the allure of a tree or stream, a view or whatever, I enjoy it - and damn the consequences to my cardio-vascular system. So much time inside and online. When I'm out there, I want to live the experience to the max.
One final four and a half minutes of peace.
I like that old ash tree photo.
