OK, the right way up.

it was an annoying day. Friday 13th. The car had been serviced the day before and on the way to Kairos it was stuttering and flashing alarming alarm signals. I took it hack to the garage and left it to go to this little reserve.

And what a pleasure!

A kingfisher... a long way away...

And more. I heard a cuckoo and then saw it fly off when I moved! I don't recall seeing one before! Then I saw a crayfish, which I had never seen in England. This is the invasive signal crayfish, not the rare native one, but I was still excited.

I sat by a willow and the garage called. They'd replaced the spark plugs, one was faulty and that was all.

I went back to the garage, got the car, set off home and realised I had left my vape thing in the reserve. Luckily, I had left it near a car park, but I had to turn around and go back.

When I got home, I scalded myself with boiling water.
