OK, so this, "The Starling Sequence" [FFS - Ed.], is funny.
That second photo! the starling doesn't take flight! they JUMP! Look at the wings! I've seen them move from the feeder to the ground and they do just seem to drop out the sky. That's what this one does! I find that picture vary funny! [Ha bloody ha. - Ed.] [No need to be snarky. - Crone] [It's just that "sequence'"thing? So pretentious. Gets my goat. - Ed.] [You know what? I don't give a falling f@*&. - Crone]
I took this one in the park and it's one of my desktop backgrounds. I like it a lot.
While I was in the park, I saw a crow chase. I think it's Four who was the thief, with Divo in pursuit.
OK. Not very good.
But I did capture some flight rather well.
And seagull squabbling.
Back at home, I think this is my best blue tit so far.
And Bobbit is always a willing subject.
These are stupendous! Beautiful details in the close-ups Love expressiveness of the blue tit. The gulls are given a fine showing of flight and communal action. And there's the very fine starling "sequence" especially how you caught one "jumping"!
