Yes, zoomed into a blur.
I walked the seven mile circuit of the Reserve in the hope of taking some nice pictures and possibly seeing the juvenile cuckoo whom someone saw last week being fed by reed warblers.
No such luck. Though I did see a reed warbler. I am sure it was gathering food for young as it was flying back and forth. That's as good as it got.
The tough drought conditions have again encouraged the badgers to engage in more wasp-nest-eating.

My highlights were bones, bees, and dragonflies.






Great close-up of the bumblebee and her activities. Colourful dragonflies are pretty. Oh and I saw the red kite in the tree.
