Rec reshuffle
So, I thought that it had been a while since I visited the crows and they certainly seemed to regard me with an additional level of suspicion. The whole experience was rather sub optimal.
First up, no sign of the Driveways in their normal driveway place. Not to worry, they often appear in the main part of the Rec. Likewise I was not too unsettled not to see the Unbraves in their traditional place.
I did wonder if the presence of a red kite was unnerving them.
Out on the grass, a little further north than normal, two crows. They eyed me warily. But it was the Unbraves place, at least the north and east edge of it, and one hopped drooping a wing. Droopy, surely.
But then they got chased off and flew north and east to the Flyings' usual place. So I thought, OK, they were the Flyings, testing their luck and these new ones - an adult and four youngsters - must be the Unbraves.
But when this crow flew off to cache, he went to Driveway territory and I realised it was Hermes.
I waited for him to come back, but he and his kids flew up to the Unbraves' traditional tree.
Then they flew back into the Rec as though they owned the whole thing.
I saw the Flyings... or perhaps the Unbraves... chase a crow from the Playground territory. I left food there, but no one came.
I left food for the Flyings/Unbraves, who organised themselves into two pairs or a loose four and finally ate something.
Hermes never returned to the food in the Unbrave place.
I am so out of the loop.
