Respite from squirrels

The Divines do not get bothered by squirrels.

Here, Divo comes down and starts eating. I move closer when he's caching, but I think he notices. Diva calls from above and won't descend until I move away.

After this I saw two extra crows with the Unbraves. They scuffled a little, but not much... it wasn't like when the Extra crow flies overhead and everyone takes it in turns to chase her as she teases them. There was a tiny skirmish and then, briefly, the five stood together before the two left. I wondered if it were the Driveways, chased off their food by the squirrels and complaining about it to understanding neighbours.

I saw two pied wagtails. I usually see them in a pair in the park, so this wasn't surprising. What was was that they were standing still and not wagging their tails. I walked over and they took off. But not as a pair. One chased the other. It was an incredible aerial pursuit... until they were out of sight.

The blackbirds, you'll be pleased to know, are no longer vultures. Juvenile male is quite brave, male looks very smart. Mrs B I have only seen briefly.

Black Crown has been back for a peanut. The blue tits, just two, are often in the garden.

And the fox seems still to be taking food.
