...than making friends with insects.
This chap was under the Copse Oak. Seemed to have one wing longer than the other. Damage or design? I don't know.

A bee was buzzing around just to the left of me, repeatedly returning and carefully inspecting the ground. I realised that I had disturbed the ground and she couldn't find her hole. After two failed attempts, I moved little twigs and leaves into a state that enabled her to find her hole again. She went in, legs covered in pollen, and stayed there.
The Copse Oak was discussing, inspired by my reading of Charles Foster, edges and telling me the best edges are at the interstices of many things. Not just between two.
I asked about the Morrigan and the oak said that death is a pretty important edge, but I needed to ask her or the Raven. I wonder if a different corvid would do? Considering this was the same day as Mr Driveway's visit.
Somewhat bemused by all this, I spoke to a hedgewitch. She thought there was definitely something going on and suggested moss agate, raven, a certain place on Exmoor, and shadow work.
To narrow it down, I went for tarot. In asking why the Morrigan wants to commune with me, i
I got the message that I am a suitable home (!). That was a pentacle, an earth card. What did she want to tell me, I got a cup card about psychic inspiration. And what was I to do? This, like the first card, was a pentacle and it was about balance.
Then I asked which way to go - A Raven Upper World Journey, A Raven Lower World Journey or the moss agate. The first and last were both wands, stressing effort. For the Lower World Journey I turned over The Fool - which was funny as the hedgewitch and I had talked about both of us feeling like The Fool. So that was the answer.
Next, I wondered about questions: what do I need to learn, or what do you want to express, or what would be of use? Again, the first and third were wands and the middle one was The Fool. Yes, I had shuffled them! That seemed to confirm the question.
Finally I drew one card asking what all this was about. I received the Nine of Cups, a blessing.

But what does The Fool mean? p.s. I like the story of the bee finding her hole again.
