Well, that's sad

Day off. Went to the gym. Fed crows. Fresh air. Went to the ruined church.
This woman died 18 months after her twin daughters died just after they were born. I wonder if she killed herself? Or if she was weakened by the birth?

Then, the stone next to it - this is her sister. And I think it's just six months later in the same year! Maybe not - maybe that's 1879 and so it's nine years on... because I think that both of them were 38. This sister died on Christmas Day.

The stories of these people! What happened? Was this church ruined then? It must have been... I'm sure there's a picture of it, a sketch, from the 18th century.
It wasn't exactly what I had hoped for (which was... I don't know, a resting fox or something). I needed some magic as I have actually been feeling ill in various ways for five or six days. Headache, bit too hot, muscle aches, really upset stomach - indigestion rather than the runs. I think it's the stress and not moving enough and change of habit and routine. But I feel pants.

It does make one wonder about these people. I'm not planning to have one for myself, but I must admit, there's something compelling to come across these sparse record of a life, and the ground underneath.
Sorry to hear how unwell you've been feeling. It's a low time of year and you've got a lot going on xx
