When darkness comes

That's in "Bridge over troubled Water", isn't it? Well, I need a bridge. It's been like this for so long, on and off, that I am more than usually bored of myself.

The other day, I did the circuit of the reservoir at the Reserve. It was warm and the route is pleasant. Although I had my camera, I didn't take many picture. And, in fact, the one on the front is from the previous day when I sat with Kairos.

It's pretty clear that the darkness was with me then, too...

I did meet a climbable tree, the Lyre Oak, due to its shape. Sitting in it, I look fairly happy.

Or maybe I just look manic and mad.

I saw one squirrel. Many birds... and a great many trees. And yet, the inspiration wasn't with me.

Earlier in the day, I sat down with watercolours. That was not encouraging either.

I can't believe that it is nearly midsummer and I feel as dark as midwinter.

Yes, you look happy. ❤️

That's good that you're back to the watercolours.

You won't say that when you see the "painting".
