As I was sitting there, something very large perched above me.
When the kite took off, I heard the twig snap.

Minutes later, he returned and perched in an adjacent tree. Then I realised that there were two.
When I came out of the wood, I saw a whole load of rooks and two kites circling above a tractor.
I whistled and the first kite came and circled twice above me looking down. Then the other one took his place. She seemed to twitch her wings at me.
Look, you'll say I'm making much of nothing. But I feel blessed. By the twitch of a kite's wing, by being in their consciousness for a moment.
I saw one flying in the second video. And could hear the calls. Lovely x
