I am back to the journeying subject matter. That post I wrote about the close encounters with robins and stags and hares led me to seek a meeting. In keeping with the Nastassja Martin vibe, I was not wanting to see them as any "mirror" for me, some as yet previously unacknowledged aspect of my personality or whatnot. Instead, I just wanted to get a sense of who they were.
And what did I sense? The stag was, unlike the actual stags, courageous and defiant; the robin was communicative; the hare intuitive.
Hmmm. It's kind of "to be expected". At the time, it felt "real", but thinking back. No.
So, another attempt, this one a guided meditation journey. Here I met an elder, a wise being. It was an oak. And it gave me no advice but did hand me a beech nut. Not an acorn. A beech nut.
So, I went to sit with a beech.
Nothing.
Beached on the bleak shore of my own fading inspiration.
So, I went down to the water and sat in the water willow for a while.
The pictures you took in that first slide show of wood -- the patterns are like seeing images in clouds! And you had a good spot being with the willow and close to the swans. p.s.
