Just because I had a lot of blackbird pictures that I wanted to share.
Those yellow rings around their eyes are astonishingly dramatic. Mind you, they are not alone in being good to photograph. Check this out.

Yes, those yellow rings are very "eye-catching". And I am especially impressed by the way that Mr B lines up so many pellets in his beak!
