Of course, I couldn't come home without visiting these guys.
A sequence from Three.
And here are the Driveways and Divines with Three in the middle. they resented the camera.
I saw the jay in the park. A bird that seems huge in the garden looks small compared to his cousins, and he approached the food like a blackbird, when they tip up their tails? I wonder if that is a sign of nerves?
I've been listening to Elizabeth Marshall Thomas's The Hidden Life of Life and she talks about the huge bird lizards... not the ones you are thinking of... these ones... azhdarchid pterosaurs. Seriously worth checking out. They were, as you'll see if you follow the link, the size of GIRAFFES and could fly non stop for five or six days. Just imagine a flying giraffe! Their beaks, or rather, jaws, were eight feet long. How the starlings would love to transform into these.
I forget - how did Three get their name? Yes, and wouldn't the starlings be quite the sight as azhdarchid pterosaurs. And imagine how a big flock of them would look!!!!!
