Not so fun-gal in the woods

On the way to Kairos, I saw this!

Isn't that cool? Don't know what it is.
On the way back, I saw a white pheasant - they stock some white pheasants and the shooters are not allowed to shoot them. If they do, they will forfeit the rest of their bag. Nice, eh? But the foxes will find it pretty easy to track them down.

While sitting with Kairos, we talked about anger, which he reckons is a specifically, or primarily, mammalian emotion. I thought of crows and he said, no- that's being defensive or offensive, not anger. Right. He said the earth can soak up anger. She prefers that greatly to being mined, apparently. He also said that real connection is always physical, like fungi. Or leaning on bark. Much better, he claimed, than psychological connection. Allegedly.
As I left, just after three, the light already had the aura of evening.

I like the earth soaking up anger xx
