I'm not going to pretend that I am sure. Though I think I am sure. No, really, I must be sure... no one else comes this close and no one else makes little semi-song sounds at me... this must be my precious Tane.
What was yet more exciting that finally getting some we-time with Tane (or whomever it is)
was that every now and then get got some food and took it to someone in the honeysuckle, with whom he talked in father-ese. This was the little one a few days earlier.

Before I walked up the garden to see Tane, a pair of robins squeaked at me on the front lilac. They perched next to eat other above the empty feeder, looked me in the face, and complained in little cheeps. Of course, I apologised and filled the feeder.
The jay has been stocking up on peanuts, as has the furry pest.
I always enjoy time in your back garden. Smart robins "cheeping" to get food! Ha Ha. Good to see the gang, including the young robin.
