Singing and chasing

The other day, I saw Tane. I was so happy to see him. He just looked at me until Garden Robin chased him away. At least I know he's still alive, which is great. But I do miss him - and Bobbit.
This is at the front of my mind as the Bobbit film and Bobbit paper will both be published next year and I am in the process of doing a second load of revisions on the latter. That intimacy! That trust. It is so empty without a friendly robin.
Revising the paper is a bit of a hassle as I don't exactly understand what is required of me. I need to do something with the photos and something else with the references and something else that's about referencing phenomenology. My little brain is a little addled. Maybe I'll manage to work it out.
Still, it's fantastic that it will be in a book - and one of the editors said it's one of his favourite chapters! How about that?
In addition, my revisions to the tree paper seem to have convinced the editor that they can publish that one as well. It did have a question mark hanging over it, but I did some substantive rewrites. All this helps me feel that I might not be entirely crap.
That. of course, does not help with the job worries or the personal demons... well, maybe it helps, it just does not cure.
This video has the sound of Garden Robin singing as Next-door Robin watches on, before being chased away!

I'm glad you & Tane saw each other. And that's great news about the responses for both the tree and robin papers. Hurrah!
