This cat is very large and I am wondering if he is a stray as his coat tends to look matted on the wildlife camera. This is actually the first time I have seen him face to face.

There is a nice place under that bush next to where he is sitting that I suspect had been someone's bed.

I was looking through the conservatory windows. The next day I saw the long-tailed tits through the windows and they, the whole family, came to perch on the chairs and roses, looking in at me and cheeping. I had not yet put the food out. I spoke to them and it was all very sweet until Buji leapt onto my shoulder and the birds fled.

Outside, I saw evidence of Brock.

He'd been digging. He'd also left muddy footprints all over the green box and in the food platter that is up there.

Today, Falco, up in the back lilac, looked down at me and then started... not singing and not subsinging but making fragmentary calls... just phrases... while looking at me. In fact, I have started to think that this may be a Falca rather than a Falco. S/he then proceeded to preen.

It was all so much easier when I was on friendly terms with a robin.

I'm glad you have the tits. Their cousins, the chickadees are around our place and always nice to have their company! It sounds like Falco/a is getting more relaxed around you.
