This was a Woodland Trust training day.

I feel a little more confident about conifers after the practical sessions and I understand better the processes followed by those who receive our alerts. That helps me to understand how better to fill in the alert forms.

But the best bit was walking around the wonderful site and looking at the trees...

That shot on the front is resin dripping down from a wound in a Douglas fir... that damage too can be beautiful.
