Clare put her trail camera out during my month in London.
I was delighted to see not one fox, but two!
Clare says the hedgehog looks very healthy. The last night of my first visit home, I saw the hog munching at the food I leave out. They did not run away, more ambled into a corner and balled up, leaving their back toward me.
There were many robins appearing and promptly disappearing. And I do think there are four adults who visit the garden - of which more in a later post.
Incidentally, well before I went to London - late May, perhaps, I took the bat detector out and did indeed hear pipistrelles. And, in June, as I stood in the garden, waiting for something to happen during the day time, I regularly heard swifts screaming overhead. Looking up, I once saw a group of 20 or so wheeling above me. These things keep me going.
Love how the squirrel's jump ends the video!
